The full-day trek to Torres del Paine is considered one of the best hiking routes in Chile and one of the must-do activities in Patagonia. It covers a total distance of 24 km, passing through forests, fields, and rivers.
We start the day by picking up passengers from their respective accommodations in Puerto Natales. Then, we head towards the Laguna Amarga park entrance, where visitors must show their entrance tickets to Torres del Paine National Park. From there, we continue towards the Welcome Center located near Hotel Las Torres, which is where our trekking adventure begins.
We continue through the Ascencio Valley, and after approximately 2 hours, we will reach El Chileno Refuge. We'll then continue our journey for another 2 hours until we reach the Base las Torres viewpoint, where you'll have a privileged view of the three granite towers: Torre D'Agostini, Torre Central, and Torres Monzino. Along the way, we will make provisional stops to enjoy the scenery. The trek to the Torres viewpoint takes approximately 4 hours, but this can vary depending on the walking pace of the passengers and the weather conditions.
This excursion is of medium to high difficulty and is recommended for those aged 12 and older.
